Job summary
DT Midstream Inc is seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer to lead environmental permitting for midstream and related energy infrastructure. You will coordinate with federal and state agencies, manage consultants, and ensure regulatory compliance across planning, construction and operations.
The role focuses on NEPA reviews, FERC processes, and ensuring project schedules and budgets are met while maintaining safety and permitting quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science or related field.
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in environmental engineering or permitting.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.
Responsibilities
- Lead environmental permitting for midstream and related energy projects.
- Oversee FERC pre-filing and certificate processes with supporting docs.
- Coordinate NEPA reviews, EA and EIS as needed.
- Serve as environmental liaison with federal/state agencies and local jurisdictions.
- Develop permitting strategies to minimize risk and meet schedules.
- Review designs for environmental compliance and constructability.
- Ensure permit condition compliance during construction with inspectors.
