Job summary

Clarios is seeking a seasoned Environmental Engineer Leader to ensure compliance with Federal, State and Municipal rules and to maintain Clarios Environmental Standards through an active Environmental Management System on site five days a week.

You will lead engineers, conduct audits and inspections, support investigations and corrective actions, develop EMS with EHS teams, collaborate on capital projects, monitor regulatory changes, and pursue emissions reductions and data integrity across the

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, EHS Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, preferably in a manufacturing plant environment.
• Professional experience in air permitting and operations, wastewater permitting and operations, and regulatory experience in CAA, CWA, SARA, TIER II, EPCRA, NESHAP, RCRA, CERCLA, SPCC.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental rules and regulations and maintain the Environmental Management System onsite five days a week.
• Lead Environmental Engineers to ensure compliance through audits, inspections, and accurate recordkeeping; support investigations and corrective actions.
• Develop and oversee environmental management systems, collaborate with engineering and project teams on capital projects, and monitor regulatory changes for emissions reductions.
