Job summary

Atelier Ten San Francisco, a leading environmental design firm, seeks an experienced Senior Environmental Designer with a specialty in Energy Analysis to advance energy efficiency and carbon reduction across a diverse project portfolio.

You will lead whole-building energy modeling, develop strategies for HVAC systems, and mentor teams while maintaining strong client relationships and project budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in a related environmental building design field.
• 5–10 years of professional experience in architecture, engineering or sustainability consulting.
• LEED or WELL AP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently plan and manage projects from start to finish.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication.
• Coordinate with design and contractor teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Lead client presentations, design charrettes, and internal team meetings.
• Collaborate with technical analysis teams to integrate sustainability strategies.
• Forecast project fees and resources, and manage budgets effectively.
• Author and review project deliverables, including reports and drawings.
• Create compelling graphic illustrations to communicate technical concepts.
