Job summary

Atelier Ten US is seeking a full-time Environmental Designer with a specialty in Energy Analysis to collaborate on projects that achieve energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions. You will help produce technical deliverables, run whole-building energy models, and develop strategies for HVAC systems.

You’ll be part of an interdisciplinary team, contribute to the design process, and be integral to the Energy Analysis practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Architectural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Building Science, Sustainable Building Design.
• 1-4 years professional work experience in whole-building energy analysis or related field.
• Experience with IES-VE or eQuest preferred.
• Fluency in English required.
• Knowledge of ASHRAE standards and energy codes is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Learn internal energy analysis methodologies following ASHRAE 90.1 and related standards.
• Develop energy models (IES-VE / eQuest) for building design and analysis.
• Identify net-zero energy and carbon strategies using various metrics.
• Support coordination of sustainability assessments and energy benchmarking.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in environmental design and reporting.
