The role involves performing extract, transform, and load (ETL) operations and managing the data lifecycle—from event planning and field preparation to data compilation, QA/QC, report preparation, and final submissions. The manager will support project teams, analysts, chemists, and customer data delivery formats.

The role also involves establishing electronic quality assurance project plans, coordinating field sample events using EQuIS Sample Planning Module (SPM), configuring data collection forms in EQuIS Collect, processing laboratory data with EQuIS Data Processor (EDP), and managing data verification with EQuIS Data Quality Module (DQM). The manager will work with other Data Managers, project chemists, GIS operators, and collaborate across Leidos offices. Responsibilities include data migrations, ensuring data compliance, and supporting data delivery in various formats. Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication, attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Senior Environmental Data Manager Responsibilities:

  • Interface daily with quality, control, laboratory, and field personnel.
  • Manage data across sampling events.
  • Build database records for samples, analyses, and target analytes.
  • Generate sample labels for field collection.
  • Check data compliance with contract specifications.
  • Ensure data completeness for analysis activities.
  • Maintain regulatory screening criteria.
  • Load chain of custody and analytical data into databases.
  • Perform data edits and corrections.
  • Develop T-SQL queries for data interrogation.

  • 8+ years managing environmental analytical chemistry data.
  • Experience with EQuIS EDP, EQuIS Professional, SPM, Collect, DQM, and EnviroInsite.
