Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Earth Science or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of related experience.
• Experience with underground storage tank compliance preferred.
• Knowledge of federal/state/local rules for petroleum storage tanks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail oriented, highly organized, able to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage fuel inventory control requirements and reports.
• Lead Monthly Underground Storage Tank (UST) inspection program.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and cost-effective changes.
• Manage compliance database with auditing and reporting.
• Coordinate testing companies, contractors, and regulatory schedules.
• Escalate alarms and water intrusion issues with stakeholders.
• Communicate with stores, contractors, and regulators on spills and inspections.
• Mentor less experienced team members.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
