Job summary

Casey’s is seeking an Environmental Compliance Specialist to ensure petroleum storage tank compliance at store locations. You will oversee permitting, registration, testing, and documentation, and mentor junior teammates while maintaining regulatory alignment.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of experience in environmental compliance, with knowledge of federal, state, and local rules. Role includes travel and on-call duties, with a focus on safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Earth Science or related discipline.
• At least three years of related experience.
• Knowledge of underground storage tank compliance rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage fuel inventory control and reporting with internal teams.
• Lead the Monthly UST inspection program with stakeholders.
• Identify improvements for cost effectiveness and equipment changes.
• Maintain and audit the compliance database and reporting.
• Oversee testing firms and contractors for state and federal regs.
