Job summary

Phillips 66 is seeking an Environmental Specialist III to manage environmental activities for Midstream operations in Oklahoma City. You will interpret complex regulations, manage permits, and provide practical guidance to Operations and Project Managers to minimize environmental impact.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in a related field, 3+ years of environmental compliance in oil & gas, and ability to travel 25% of the time. TWIC eligibility and strong MS Office skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 3+ years of direct environmental compliance experience in the oil & gas industry.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willing and able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC).
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Travel to field locations up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of environmental regulations and permits for Midstream assets; monitor rules and advocate for Oklahoma.
• Obtain, amend, and renew construction and operating permits; prepare required applications and reports; ensure inspections and testing are completed on time.
• Provide practical environmental guidance to Operations, support teams, and Project Managers; consider risk and impacts when interpreting requirements.
• Support maintenance and sustaining projects through environmental evaluations, permitting, and related activities.
• Participate on internal teams to share knowledge and develop strategies for environmental issues.
