Phillips 66 Lake Charles Refinery in Westlake, LA is seeking a Sr Specialist II, Environmental to protect people, communities and the environment while supporting safe operations. You will coordinate field assessments, oversee compliance programs across media, and guide teams to meet evolving regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Bachelor’s degree required
• 5+ years of experience with state and federal environmental regulations across one or more media
• Possess a valid driver’s license
• Experience supervising or guiding junior staff
• Willing to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC)
• Able to perform on-site operations and occasional on-call duties
• Ability to work with regulatory agencies and internal partners

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and conduct field assessments of environmental issues to ensure operations meet standards and regulatory requirements
• Lead oversight of environmental compliance programs across media (air, water, wastewater, stormwater, groundwater, waste) including permits and monitoring
• Plan and manage environmental audit and inspection programs, investigate incidents, drive corrective actions
• Monitor health, safety, and environmental metrics, identify trends, and recommend improvements
• Provide guidance and training on environmental requirements to operations and maintenance
• Collect, analyze, and interpret environmental data; maintain records and submittals
• Design and improve environmental compliance programs including spill prevention and sustainable initiatives
• Coordinate inspections and information requests with regulatory agencies and support permit processes
