Job summary

WSB is seeking a Sr. Compliance Specialist to provide advanced environmental compliance expertise to support construction, infrastructure, transportation, and municipal projects in the Minneapolis area.

You will oversee regulatory compliance, permitting, inspections, and technical review of environmental documentation, coordinating with regulators and project teams. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, at least five years of experience, strong knowledge of NPDES, SWPPP, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in an environmental field or related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive environmental compliance and permitting experience.
• Experience with SWPPP, NPDES, and regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced regulatory and technical support for environmental compliance programs.
• Interpret regulations, permit requirements, and agency guidance to ensure project compliance.
• Coordinate SWPPP development, permitting, monitoring, and reporting activities.
• Review environmental submittals and assist with permit applications and environmental plans.
• Mentor junior staff and stay current with evolving environmental regulations.
