Job summary

Terracon is seeking an experienced Senior Regulatory Compliance Manager to lead regulatory compliance efforts across the Eastern Midwest Region, including Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, West Virginia, and Pittsburgh, PA. The role involves mentoring staff, expanding services, and building our regulatory practice in a nationwide team.

The candidate will manage projects, prepare deliverables, and develop client relationships while ensuring quality and compliance with environmental regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 12+ years of experience in a full-time consulting role.
• Proven ability to engage and lead a team of technical staff and mentor their growth.
• Demonstrated a high level of technical writing ability.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Grow and expand existing environmental compliance services.
• Prepare calculations, applications, plans, reports, proposals, and other deliverables.
• Manage projects and staff to ensure quality and timeliness.
• Understand the local and regional market.
• Develop strong working relationships with clients.
• Develop proposals in response to RFPs and client requests.
• Participate in the development of local and regional marketing strategies.
• Support safety efforts to promote safety rules and guidelines.
• Evaluate problems and develop practical solutions that enable our clients to achieve and maintain compliance with environmental regulations.
