Job summary

Terracon is seeking an experienced Senior Regulatory Compliance Manager to lead regulatory compliance efforts across multiple states in the Eastern Midwest region, including OH, KY, IN, MI, WV and PA. You will guide staff, manage projects, prepare reports, and develop client relationships.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, technical writing, and the ability to navigate environmental regulations. Terracon offers flexible scheduling and remote work where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• 12+ years of experience in a full-time consulting role.
• Proven ability to engage and lead a technical staff team.
• Demonstrated high level of technical writing ability.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Valid driver’s license.
• 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER and current 8-hour refresher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Grow and expand existing environmental compliance services.
• Prepare calculations, applications, plans, reports, proposals, and other deliverables.
• Manage projects and staff to ensure quality and timeliness.
• Understand the local and regional market.
• Develop strong working relationships with clients.
• Develop proposals in response to RFPs and client requests.
• Participate in the development of local and regional marketing strategies.
• Support safety efforts to promote safety rules and guidelines.
• Evaluate problems and develop practical solutions that enable our clients to achieve and maintain compliance with environmental regulations.
