Job summary

Genpak, LLC in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a Manager of Environmental Compliance to lead a best-in-class program across manufacturing sites, focusing on environmental compliance, performance, and sustainability. You will partner with plant leadership, engineering, and operations to ensure compliant, responsible manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Demonstrated ownership of environmental compliance programs in a plant setting.
• Strong expertise in EPA regulations, permitting, and environmental reporting.
• Experience supporting or leading multiple manufacturing sites in environmental compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead all environmental programs across manufacturing sites, including air emissions, water usage, waste management, and compliance reporting.
• Own environmental permitting processes, renewals, and modifications, reporting to regulators.
• Develop and monitor environmental KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead environmental incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain all environmental permits, licenses, and documentation.
