The Environmental Specialist IV at IAPMO Group serves as a technical resource to the Exploration team, guiding field operations and coordinating programs to validate compliance with environmental regulations on waste disposal, water use, wildlife, land, and spill prevention. You will support the zero-incident safety culture and uphold accountability in all projects.

Competenze

• 3+ years of experience in Alaska environmental compliance (spills, waste, water use, drinking water, land issues, permitting, field monitoring/study design, wildlife, remediation)

Mansioni

• Serving as a technical resource to the Exploration team by providing guidance and assistance to the field and coordinating programs to validate compliance with environmental regulations related to: waste disposal and material reuse, waste minimization, wildlife, land, water quality, water use, spill reporting and prevention, and other related field environmental issues.
• Identifying environmental risks, issues, and mitigation strategies, and communicating with Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE).
• Assessing field activities by conducting onsite audits and site visits to validate environmental compliance.
• Representing Company during agency inspections; and maintaining contacts and working relationships with local, state, and federal agency personnel.
• Support AES zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations.
• Other duties will be assigned to this position as needed.
