Job summary

Intel's Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Technology Front-End Semiconductor Manufacturing (TFSM) team in Oregon seeks an experienced Environmental Engineer to own and advance environmental compliance programs across Hillsboro and other sites. This role reports to the Oregon/Bowers Campuses Environmental Manager and drives program ownership, audits, and continuous improvement in regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Civil, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, or closely related field.
• 7+ years of progressive environmental experience with stormwater and/or regulated waste management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the site SME for stormwater, waste, and air compliance programs, including permits and regulatory reporting.
• Own environmental program audits, track findings, and drive corrective actions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally on construction, facility modifications, and tech development to address permitting and compliance.
• Develop and deliver environmental training for site personnel.
