Qualifications

• B.S. in Environmental or Chemical Engineering with 5 years of progressive experience in manufacturing environmental programs.
• In lieu of Engineering degree, a Bachelor’s in Environmental Science or Chemistry with 10+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Strong regulatory knowledge of Federal/State/Local environmental regulations for Harris County/Houston.
• Ability to prepare permits and manage compliance programs with minimal supervision.
• Advanced MS Office skills and excellent communication and project management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental programs for the Houston Plant to ensure 100% regulatory compliance.
• Oversee LDAR monitoring, quarterly TO/Flare testing, waste disposal within budget.
• Prepare permit applications and revisions; communicate regulatory requirements to plant staff.
• Coordinate agency relations and participate in regulatory/industry groups.
• Report sustainability KPIs and support energy and environmental reporting.
