Job summary

Groundwater & Environmental Services, Inc. (GES) seeks an Environmental Professional to develop business in the Mid-Atlantic region. The role supports growth of environmental projects in Richmond, Blacksburg or Odenton, with options for remote or hybrid work within the local area.

Responsibilities include selling services, leading proposals, and expanding client relationships across industrial facilities, utilities, Brownfields, and pharma clients. Travel locally and nationally is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Environmental Science, Ecology, Geology, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• 15+ years of industry experience with 5+ years generating leads and creating proposals.

Responsibilities

• Sells and secures contracts for GES services to clients.
• Executes contracted work with management of GES staff.
• Leads bid and proposal preparation with operational leaders.
• Generates leads and develops new business opportunities.
• Requires local and overnight travel to attend meetings and events.
