Job summary

ICF Olson is seeking a Senior Business Development Lead to advance environmental services growth, with a Florida focus and a strong client network. You will guide strategy, mentor staff, and coordinate across teams while supporting nationwide projects.

Expect remote work with occasional travel and leadership in pursue of complex programs. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in environmental science/policy/biology and 15+ years of relevant experience, plus a proven capability in winning work

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, policy, biology, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience on environmental, energy, or natural resource projects.
• Experience leading business development and developing technical & cost proposals.
• Well-developed industry network with private/public sector clients and regulatory agencies.
• Strong business development acumen with market understanding and positioning for new work.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development and build client relationships with emphasis in Florida.
• Direct project teams, including subconsultants, on strategy, agency coordination, and deliverables.
• Oversee project aspects: client contact, budget, invoicing, schedule, and staffing.
• Provide regulatory coordination and compliance support under NEPA, CWA, ESA as needed.
• Write and review technical reports and environmental documents.
• Perform QA/QC of project documents and client-focused deliverables.
• Mentor staff in technical, project, and business development skills.
