Job summary

Venture Global LNG in Houston is seeking a Manager, Environmental Engineering (Air) to lead air quality permitting programs for owned and affiliated assets, including LNG terminals and related facilities.

You will guide regulatory strategy, model air dispersion, oversee PSD, Title V, and FERC reporting, and mentor a multi-disciplinary team to deliver compliant, efficient operations while advancing emissions reduction initiatives.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in engineering or commensurate experience in a management role.
• Knowledge and competency in air quality regulations, permitting, reporting, and compliance.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in air quality permitting in industrial processes, construction or operation of gas processing plants, or other chemical production facility.
• Demonstrate technical and analytical skills with proven experience in large air quality/regulatory compliance projects or facilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to lead and work within a team with demonstrated strong interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrate self-motivation and direction, with strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Director, Environmental Engineering.
• Assist in directing strategic air permit programs for Venture Global operated assets and affiliated assets.
• Serve as an internal subject matter expert for air dispersion modeling strategies for brownfield and greenfield projects.
• Provide guidance on air quality permitting programs, including PSD, Title V, and state/federal authorizations.
• Advise on development of air emissions and GHG inventories; identify opportunities for reductions.
• Support consultants, staff, and contractors in planning and executing air quality permitting programs.
