Job summary

Forgent Power Solutions, Inc. seeks an Infra Engineer III, M365 & Identity to own Forgent's Microsoft identity and productivity platform across all sites. You will govern Entra ID, CA policies, and PIM while supporting a unified M365 environment.

The role is pivotal during a planned July 1 go-live, ensuring secure access and compliant identity governance across the organization from day one.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of Microsoft identity and enterprise M365 engineering experience.
• Deep hands-on Entra ID knowledge: user/group management, CA, hybrid identity, B2B.
• Proven Privileged Identity Management implementation in production.
• Strong hybrid identity understanding: Entra Connect, hash sync, PTA, ADFS.
• Purview DLP, compliance reporting, Defender for Identity expertise.
• Intune device compliance integrated with CA policies.
• Ability to produce runbooks, policy guides, and change docs.
• Experience with SSO integrations: SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SCIM provisioning.

Responsibilities

• Own Entra ID governance across all Forgent entities and licensing.
• Design and enforce Conditional Access aligned to Zero Trust.
• Manage Privileged Identity Management and access reviews.
• Oversee hybrid identity sync health and Entra Connect.
• Deploy Defender for Identity and Purview DLP policies.
• Lead SSO across applications and manage app provisioning.
