Job summary

Nexus One is seeking a customer-embedded technical counterpart who will be the architect the customer's technical organization knows by name, the go-to advisor for running NX1 inside their environment.

The role is roughly 70% solution architecture and technical advisory and 30% TAM-flavored work, with credibility earned through deep technical skills and clear written artifacts. You will shape what TAM means at NX1 and ensure a coherent technical voice across the account.

Qualifications

• 10–16 years in enterprise data/cloud architecture (SA, principal engineer, TAM or equivalent).
• Prior multi-year embedded engagement at a Tier 1 enterprise customer (bank, insurer, public sector, etc.).
• Hands-on depth in OSS data stack: Spark, Trino, Airflow, Iceberg, Kubernetes, S3-compatible storage, Kafka.

Responsibilities

• Be the customer-facing NX1 technical voice across the customer's daily technical operations (architecture reviews, security reviews, design discussions, integration planning).
• Translate between customer's technical reality and NX1's engineering team; manage escalations and design clarifications.
• Produce written technical artifacts for customer review boards and maintain technical context with internal teams.
