Job summary

Nexus One is seeking a customer-embedded technical counterpart for flagship enterprise accounts. You’ll be the customer’s trusted NX1 voice—architect, advisor, and reviewer—driving the daily reality of running NX1 in their environment.

The role blends 70% solution architecture and technical advisory with 30% TAM-flavored coordination, ensuring a coherent technical voice across account teams and internal NX1 stakeholders. You’ll shape what TAM means at NX1.

Qualifications

• 10–16 years in enterprise data/cloud architecture as an SA/TA/TAM or equivalent.
• Prior multi-year embedded engagement at a Tier 1 enterprise customer.
• Hands-on depth in Spark, Trino, Airflow, Iceberg, Kubernetes, Kafka, and S3 storage.
• Proven track record as the customer's technical go-to person at vendor engagements.
• Strong written technical communication suitable for design memos and ARRs.

Responsibilities

• Customer-Side Technical Advisory (70%): be the NX1 voice across the customer's daily technical operations and architecture reviews.
• Translate between customer reality and NX1 engineering, write technical artifacts, and defend design choices.
• TAM-Flavored Engagement (30%): coordinate NX1 internal teams, manage escalations, and maintain senior-level relationships.
