Job summary

Nexus Cognitive Technologies is seeking a customer-embedded technical counterpart for one of NX1’s flagship enterprise accounts. You’ll be the customer’s go-to NX1 technical voice — the architect they ping when questions arise, the advisor trusted to navigate day-to-day NX1 operations inside their environment, and the voice in architecture reviews and platform decisions.

The role is structured roughly 70% solution architecture and technical advisory and 30% TAM-flavored work, with on-site

Qualifications

• 10–16 years of enterprise data or cloud architecture experience.
• Experience as SA/TAM on a Tier 1 enterprise or embedded engagement for 12+ months.
• Hands-on depth with Spark, Trino, Airflow, Iceberg, Kubernetes, Kafka.
• Proven ability to be the customer's technical go-to person.
• Excellent written technical communication.
• Willingness to be on-site in Charlotte, NC and NYC at 80%+ cadence.
• Familiarity with bank IT governance or regulated environments is a differentiator.

Responsibilities

• Be the NX1 technical voice across the customer's daily operations.
• Earn credibility with senior engineers and platform teams within the first 20 minutes.
• Translate between customer reality and NX1 engineering without losing fidelity.
• Read design docs, ask questions, and produce textual artifacts for reviews.
• Coordinate with Principal SA and FDEM where applicable.
• Own NX1-side technical context for each account you cover.
• Route customer escalations to the right NX1 resource without bottlenecks.
• Maintain relationships with senior technical peers at the customer.
• Support pre-renewal conversations and expansion-context prep.
• Navigate vendor governance, risk reviews, and audit responses.
