Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center seeks an experienced IT leader to oversee enterprise software administration, programming, and analysis within a major academic medical center. You will develop policies, coordinate with IR and clinical teams, and prioritize technology needs to support business and patient care objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in biomedical technology, information technology, or healthcare administration required. An equivalent combination of relevant information technology certifications with enterprise systems experience may be substituted in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
• 10+ years in biomedical/imaging service industry with at least 3 years in information technology, medical device integration, or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee administration, programming, analysis and planning of software applications critical to business and clinical operations.
• Develop and implement business plans, policies, and procedures for supported systems.
• Collaborate with IR and other departments to prioritize technology needs, develop roadmaps and implementation plans, and ensure project deliverables.
• Evaluate results within the business unit to determine if objectives are met.
• Analyze and resolve software issues including improving system efficiency and integration of applications into core enterprise systems.
