Job summary

Latitude AI is seeking a seasoned Platform Infrastructure Engineer to support and scale our global IT backbone powering Ford autonomy initiatives. You will maintain mission-critical systems, automate deployments, and work with software, hardware, and network teams to deliver data-driven tools at scale.

Based in Pittsburgh, you will use Python, Terraform, Kubernetes and cloud platforms to improve reliability and performance across our enterprise infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or related field with 4+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s with 2+ years.
• Experience engineering in an enterprise-level, highly integrated IT environment.
• Proficiency scripting/automation with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
• Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Familiarity with storage networking concepts and VAST storage management.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Experience with container tech (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of DNS/IPAM (Infoblox) and identity management (Entra/AD).
• Experience with backup/recovery (Veeam).
• Linux/Unix systems design and administration.

Responsibilities

• Support and scale a rapidly expanding global infrastructure.
• Operate mission-critical systems and work with a strong technical team.
• Maintain periodic on-site presence at Latitude’s data centers and travel as needed.
• Deliver complex projects end to end with strong troubleshooting skills.
• Partner cross-functionally with software, hardware, and network teams to deliver tools and visualizations for data-driven decisions.
