Job summary

Erias Ventures, LLC. is seeking a hands-on Systems Engineer to design and document complex systems for DoD-aligned architectures. You will manage requirements, coordinate cross-discipline reviews, and help define system concepts and interfaces across the life cycle.

Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills are required, with a current Top-Secret/SCI clearance and the ability to support a growth-oriented engineering team.

Qualifications

• Fourteen (14) years’ experience as a SE in programs/contracts of similar scope, type and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university; five (5) years of additional SE experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development of system engineering documentation (System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements specifications, Interface Control Documents).
• Manage system requirements and derived requirements to ensure production systems align with DoDAF/SOA architectures.
• Assist with development of system requirements, functional requirements, and allocation to hardware/software/facility/personnel components.
• Coordinate resolution of action items from CCB, design reviews, program reviews, and test reviews requiring cross-discipline coordination.
• Participate in an Integrated Product Team to design new capabilities based on development and operational considerations.
• Develop system engineering documentation and interface control documents; participate in interface definition and changes across life cycle.
• Allocate real-time process budgets and error budgets to system components.
• Derive lower-level requirements from higher-level allocated requirements; ensure they are complete and verifiable.
• Generate alternative system concepts and architectures; define and gain approval of system/component definitions.
