Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Systems Engineer to join the Cyber Mission unit in Laurel, MD, supporting mission-critical data and cloud modernization efforts. You will lead across the full system lifecycle, engage with government stakeholders, and guide teams in modeling, architecture development, and DoDAF-driven designs.

A deep background in SE with DoDAF, SOA, and agile leadership is expected. You will collaborate across government leadership to resolve technical issues, perform risk mitigation, and

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with current polygraph required.
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 20 years of Systems Engineering experience on large programs.
• Experience developing DoDAF architecture products (operational/technical/services).
• Experience end-to-end system trade analyses and lifecycle engineering.
• Experience modeling, simulation, and prototyping for design decisions.
• Experience configuration management and technical documentation.
• Experience supporting CCB and ERB processes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements and develop system requirements specifications.
• Develop CONOPS, architectures, and SE documentation.
• Lead system engineering, design, integration and implementation.
• Guide customers in requirements, options, and feasibility studies.
• Serve as technical lead for integrating requirements and technologies.
• Develop SE plans, integration plans, and test plans.
• Collaborate with government leadership to resolve risks and challenges.
• Communicate technical status to government customers and leadership.
• Conduct system trade studies to optimize performance and lifecycle costs.
• Develop DoDAF views and use modeling to inform decisions.
• Manage system configurations and participate in CCB/ERB.
