Job summary

X Energy, LLC in Rockville, MD is seeking an experienced enterprise software administrator to support and secure business applications. You will maintain configuration, access controls, and lead technology projects to improve services.

Responsibilities include deployments, patches, migrations, and performance monitoring across multi-instance environments, with collaboration across IT and vendor teams. Onsite schedule and competitive compensation are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Typically, ten years of experience in a relevant role required.
• Experience with API and other integration methods.
• Experience in the administration of software applications or similar systems is required.
• Experience installing, upgrading, enhancing, and supporting multiple large-scale administrative software applications.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the platform, including troubleshooting, releases, patches, migrations, and restores.
• Collaborate with infrastructure to deploy database, web, and app servers in a multi-instance environment.
• Specify and verify system architecture and integration with other systems.
• Troubleshoot with IT and vendors; collaborate with development for solutions.
• Monitor high availability, load balancing, and response times to meet SLAs.
• Collaborate with IT to resolve performance issues.
• Administer security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
• Develop user documentation and support new processes.
• Partner with Senior Managers on architecture and business projects.
• Research trends impacting enterprise content management.
