Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a senior-level leader for TEKsystems Global Services to drive enterprise strategy and architecture engagements across cloud, data, and AI. This fully remote, permanent role is based in Hanover, MD, with 5–25% travel to client sites as needed.

You will connect strategy to execution, develop frameworks, and lead executive conversations, building high-impact roadmaps and SOW artifacts that translate into measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in management consulting, strategic IT consulting, enterprise architecture, or equivalent senior roles across strategy, architecture, technology, and client-facing consulting.
• Management consulting experience preferred — you know how to structure a problem, build a framework, and deliver work clients will act on.
• Deep, applied experience in enterprise and solution architecture — not just advisory familiarity. You have designed things that got built.
• Proven track record at Principal or equivalent level: you have owned client relationships, led engagements, and grown accounts without supervision.
• You are a self-starter — you lead and drive next steps without waiting for direction.
• You are an exceptional communicator — in writing and in person. You adapt your message to your audience without dumbing it down or losing the substance.
• You collaborate across groups — delivery, sales, practice leadership, and client stakeholders — without losing momentum.
• Advanced degree strongly preferred; Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Business required.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic consulting engagements and executive workshops with clients to define problems and create actionable roadmaps.
• Decompose complex client problems into structured frameworks and define strategic directions tied to business outcomes.
• Connect enterprise strategy to execution through architecture, roadmaps, and sequenced plans.
• Develop compelling business cases demonstrating financial and operational impact of proposed solutions.
• Walk into C-suite and board-level conversations independently, credibly and without senior cover.
• Bring business and IT into the same room and achieve a common language across stakeholders.
• Contribute to proposals, pursuit efforts, and go-to-market positioning; mentor junior consultants.
