Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing/Transportation Solutions is seeking an experienced Integration Architect to lead end-to-end integration initiatives across Big Data platforms, REST APIs, and enterprise API management. You will shape scalable integrations, orchestration patterns, and event-driven architectures while collaborating with cloud and on-prem teams.

Qualified candidates have 10+ years in integration design/development, strong Kafka, Apigee, and microservices skills, and a Bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in integration development/architecture with hands-on depth.
• Strong expertise with REST APIs, Kafka, and API gateways (Apigee preferred).
• Proficient in microservices, Java/Spring Boot, Go, Python, or Node.js.
• Experience with CI/CD and IaC delivery; cloud familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end integration solutions across IoT/data sources and Big Data platforms.
• Architect backend integration layers powering data-driven web interfaces.
• Lead API management, governance, and observability across teams.
• Develop producers/consumers and stream apps using Kafka and event contracts.
• Embed security, tracing, and CI/CD in integration components; provide Tier-3 support.
• Mentor developers and drive integration practices across product teams.
