Job summary

Samsara is seeking a Senior Security Engineer – Enterprise Security to share ownership of the day-to-day security operations. You will keep our endpoint security environment running, evolving zero-trust policies, and partnering with a global team for long-term resilience.

You bring 5+ years in enterprise security, hands-on endpoint tools (CrowdStrike, osquery), automation with Python, and experience with SASE/IAM. You’ll mentor peers and craft robust security playbooks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise security experience with measurable impact.
• Hands-on operation of endpoint security and visibility tools at scale.
• Experience with additional security tool stacks (SASE, IAM, DLP, etc.).
• Automation mindset with Python scripting and SOAR usage.
• Ability to assess security issues and their business impact.
• Track record of cross-team collaboration across quarters.

Responsibilities

• Co-own day-to-day operation, triage, and tuning of the endpoint security environment.
• Improve endpoint visibility tools and workflows with Security Operations.
• Document runbooks and write clear security workflows.
• Collaborate with Engineering, IT, and Security to implement tools and policies.
• Assist investigations as a technical subject matter expert.
• Triage and support remediation of vulnerabilities and misconfigurations.
• Mentor engineers to grow domain knowledge and skills.
• Embed Samsara cultural principles across the team.
