Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Lead Security Architect to shape enterprise security architecture and align it with business priorities. You will lead threat modeling, vulnerability analysis, and product security reviews while guiding modern security design across the organization.

In this remote role, you will work with EIP and business leaders, assess emerging threats, and design forward-looking security solutions that strengthen Humana's security posture. Travel to Humana offices may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or computer science and related fields.
• 8+ years of cybersecurity with at least 5 years in security architecture.
• Experience with threat modeling and application security assessments.
• Experience integrating security into SDLC and DevSecOps environments.
• Experience conducting architecture/design reviews for enterprise apps.
• Experience remediating vulnerabilities and guiding engineers on secure design.
• Experience securing APIs, web apps, and cloud workloads.
• Experience in Azure, AWS, or GCP and communicating risks to stakeholders.
• Passion for improving consumer experiences through secure design.

Responsibilities

• Perform security assessments, threat models, and enforce secure design patterns in a modern SDLC.
• Determine security architecture requirements by evaluating business strategies.
• Advise on solutions addressing security risks or gaps in business segments.
• Use independent judgment to identify best actions amid variable factors.
• Serve as a point of contact with business segment leaders on security topics.
• Communicate secure development principles to stakeholders.
• Improve security designs to reduce post-development vulnerabilities.
• Influence stakeholders to fix security deficiencies in design and code.
• Provide secure solutions while preserving necessary business functionality.
• Automate and standardize applicable security processes.
