Job summary

KBR’s National Security Solutions team is seeking an experienced Enterprise Risk Manager and System Engineering Specialist to support an Intelligence Community Space customer. You will work across engineering and requirements teams to manage risk, conduct end-to-end enterprise systems engineering, and contribute to GEOINT, SIGINT, Transport, and resiliency portfolios.

Responsibilities include capturing RIOs, developing risk mitigation plans, maintaining RMF artifacts, and presenting risk impacts

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph.
• Bachelor’s Degree (STEM preferred).
• 10-15+ years’ experience working in systems engineering in support of government systems acquisitions and enterprise services.
• Ability to collaborate across stakeholder organizations.
• Strong communication skills to interface with customers, directorate/office representatives, and across systems engineering groups.
• Strong foundation in systems lifecycles, configuration management, requirements tracking, and risk methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in capturing and categorizing technical risks, issues, and opportunities (RIOs) across system-of-systems architectures.
• Helping senior engineering teams develop, test, and document risk mitigation plans and remediation strategies.
• Maintaining Risk Management Framework (RMF) artifacts, risk registers, and system engineering plans (SEPs).
• Facilitate meetings and provide technical presentations to outline risk impacts on enterprise, functional, and system-level design requirements, interfaces, architectures, and CONOPS.
• Assisting in executing engineering assessments, Courses of Action (CoA) evaluations, and formal trade studies.
• Demonstrating an understanding of the overall systems engineering process.
• Support the enterprise risks, issues, and opportunities process and facilitation of risks
