Job summary

Independence Blue Cross is seeking a Senior Risk Analyst to lead development and enhancement of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework. You will partner with leaders to identify, assess, monitor, and report enterprise risks, supporting strategic decisions and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include maintaining risk inventories, creating dashboards, and delivering risk reporting to executive leadership and ARMC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, Business Administration, Economics, Actuarial Science, or related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in Enterprise Risk Management, Operational Risk, Internal Audit, Compliance, Finance, or related discipline.
• Working knowledge of COSO ERM, ISO 31000, or comparable methodologies.
• Experience facilitating risk assessments, maintaining risk inventories, and developing risk reporting and dashboards.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Support the development, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERMF).
• Maintain and enhance risk identification, assessment, and management tools (risk taxonomy, inventory, enterprise risk profile).
• Support enterprise-wide risk assessment processes to identify, evaluate, monitor, and report key risks and emerging threats.
• Collaborate with business leaders to integrate risk practices into business processes and decisions.
• Develop and deliver risk dashboards, presentations, and reporting for senior leadership, risk committees, and ARMC.
• Represent the organization in industry forums and external risk management activities.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
