Job summary

Dominion Energy is seeking a Senior Performance Testing Engineer to lead and support enterprise performance testing initiatives. This role will plan, coordinate, execute, and analyze performance tests to ensure scalability, reliability, and production readiness.

The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with LoadRunner/VuGen, LRE Performance Center, BlazeMeter, and OpenText ALM/Quality Center, along with strong expertise in performance testing methodologies, tool

Qualifications

10+ years of software or application testing experience.
Experience with LoadRunner/VuGen, LRE Performance Center, ALM/Quality Center, BlazeMeter.
ALM migration, administration, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Experience testing protocols: HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs, ODBC/JDBC, Citrix, SAP protocol.
Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
Excellent communication across teams.

Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive performance testing strategies, plans, and workloads.
Execute load, stress, scalability, and endurance tests.
Analyze results to identify bottlenecks and risks.
Collaborate with development, infrastructure, architecture, and DB teams to resolve issues.
Validate production readiness for deployments.
