Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking a Senior Enterprise Network Reliability Engineer in Sunnyvale to partner across software, infrastructure, and security teams. You will design, build, and operate highly reliable wired and wireless services, including offsite and temporary locations for events and product launches.

The role emphasizes hands-on engineering, end-to-end ownership, and the development of automated workflows and observability to preempt issues and improve reliability at scale.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Network Reliability/SRE or related
• Experience designing and operating highly available enterprise network services
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, IPv6, routing, switching, VLANs, QoS
• Hands-on engineering for wired/wireless networks across complex environments
• Automation/Software-focused solutions using scripting or APIs
• Telemetry/monitoring for health, performance, and customer experience
• End-to-end ownership from requirements to deployment and improvement
• Strong cross-functional collaboration across multiple teams
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
• Industry certifications such as CCNP/CCIE or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Design and improve highly available enterprise network services
• Advance modern Access Fabric architectures for wired and wireless
• Build, deploy, and validate network environments for events and offsite locations
• Develop automation platforms and infrastructure workflows
• Create AI-assisted engineering workflows to reduce toil
• Develop observability using telemetry, metrics, dashboards
• Analyze telemetry to identify systemic risks and prevent issues
• Collaborate across architecture, software, security, and operations teams
