Job summary

Apple Inc. in the San Francisco Bay Area seeks a Sr Software Engineer for Infrastructure Services to design, build and operate scalable, reliable systems for Apple's global cloud infrastructure.

You will work on distributed services supporting data centers, compute, storage and networking, collaborating with cross-functional teams to evolve our core platforms and deliver high-availability solutions at massive scale.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in software development with focus on cloud-native infrastructure, networking, or systems programming.
• Strong proficiency in GoLang, C or Python with emphasis on GoLang as primary.
• Solid understanding of concurrency patterns and high-performance coding.
• Deep knowledge of L3/L4 networking (IPv4/IPv6, dual-stack, Routing, IPAM, NAT), DNS, and traffic steering.
• Experience debugging production cloud networking issues using metrics, flow logs and packet analysis tools (tcpdump, Wireshark).
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate scalable, reliable services for Apple’s cloud infrastructure.
• Contribute to architectural design, data structures, and APIs for microservices.
• Diagnose and resolve production networking issues across cloud environments.
