Job summary

The Sakata Seed America, Inc. Network Engineer role oversees the enterprise network, servers, operating systems, and communications infrastructure across regional locations.

You will ensure security, integrity, and high availability of core systems while maintaining documentation and coordinating IT projects. A successful candidate has a BS in CS/IT and at least 5 years of enterprise networking experience, with CCNA or equivalent certification required and MCSE preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in network administration for enterprise environments.
• CCNA or equivalent networking certification required.
• MCSE certification preferred.
• Solid understanding of network design, architecture, and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee management and daily operations of the enterprise network for high performance.
• Identify and mitigate security threats with proactive updates and strategic IT leadership alignment.
• Support IT projects with technical expertise and coordination.
• Maintain documentation: network diagrams, configuration records, policies, procedures.
• Manage deployment and tracking of equipment and assets.
• Lead network projects from initiation to completion with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with IT to handle escalations and ensure consistent service delivery.
