Job summary

Citi is seeking a Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer to join the NCIS team in a hybrid role. You will design and deliver complex load balancing and network security solutions for global operations, translating requirements into robust designs and ensuring Citi's standards are met.

Responsibilities include deploying SD-WAN, configuring routing and firewall architectures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain high security and reliability across the firm's infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Deep hands-on expertise with Cisco routing and switching.
• Strong command of routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, IS-IS, MPLS/L3VPN.
• Proven SD-WAN design and operations experience in enterprise contexts.
• Solid enterprise networking background: LAN/WAN, DC, redundancy protocols.
• B2B networking experience including interconnects and peering.
• Knowledge of Check Point, Palo Alto, Fortinet firewall technologies.
• Understanding of IPsec, SSL/TLS, VPN, IDS/IPS, proxies, WAFs.
• Proficiency with Bash scripting, Python, Ansible for automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and implement Network Security and Networking solutions.
• Architect and deploy enterprise routing using Cisco platforms.
• Design and operate SD-WAN across interconnects.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity to evaluate and integrate security techs.
• Maintain security best practices and regulatory compliance.
• Write technical guides and maintain documentation.
