Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Network Architect to lead the design, deployment, and optimization of large-scale enterprise WAN and security solutions. The role focuses on Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela), Palo Alto Prisma Access SSE, and secure connectivity across global environments.

The position requires 10+ years in enterprise networking, strong leadership, and collaboration with vendors and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• 10+ years in enterprise network design and architecture.
• Deep WAN design experience and Cisco SD-WAN expertise.
• Strong knowledge of Palo Alto Prisma Access SSE/SASE and security.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, architecture, and deployment of enterprise WAN solutions.
• Architect and implement Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela) across environments.
• Design and deploy Prisma Access SSE/SASE for secure remote access.
• Develop HLDs/LLDs and execution plans with stakeholders.
• Provide advanced routing/switching expertise (BGP, OSPF, ACLs).
• Ensure adherence to security standards including VPN/IPsec/QoS.
• Oversee network lifecycle, upgrades, and vulnerability remediation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain network standards.
• Manage telecom carriers, circuit procurements, SLAs, and escalations.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers.
