Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an experienced Infra Network Architect to lead design, deployment, and optimization of large-scale WAN and security solutions. The role emphasizes Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela), Prisma Access SSE/SASE, and advanced routing with a focus on global, distributed environments.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in enterprise networks, CCNP Enterprise, and a track record of delivering secure, scalable network transformations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of enterprise network design, implementation, and architecture.
• Deep expertise in WAN architecture and design.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
• CCNP Enterprise certification required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, architecture, and deployment of enterprise WAN solutions.
• Architect and implement Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela) solutions.
• Design and deploy Palo Alto Prisma Access SSE/SASE solutions.
• Develop High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs) with implementation plans.
• Provide advanced routing and switching expertise (BGP, OSPF, route-maps, ACLs, traffic engineering).
• Ensure adherence to network security standards and best practices.
• Lead network lifecycle management including upgrades and vulnerability remediation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to maintain operations.
• Manage telecommunications service providers and vendors across the circuit lifecycle.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
