Job summary
Hewlett Packard Enterprise seeks a Senior Network Engineer to join the Service Delivery team as a resident engineer in an on-site role in Alexandria, VA. You will support SRX, QFX, and EX platforms in an enterprise environment, developing implementation plans and testing solutions.
You will act as the primary customer contact for operational issues, coordinating with JTAC and providing detailed documentation to drive resolutions. US citizenship is required; travel is less than 20% per quarter.
Qualifications
- Minimum 7+ years of hands-on network engineering experience.
- Juniper and/or other vendor certifications are a strong plus.
- Experience with Juniper products is advantageous.
- Bachelor's degree is desirable or equivalent work experience.
Responsibilities
- Operations and maintenance of an enterprise network.
- Consult with customer to support major projects involving network changes.
- Support installation of new networking deployments with client engineers.
- Deep understanding of stateful firewalls, routing and switching with QoS.
- Provide professional support using Juniper SRX, QFX and EX platforms.
