Job summary

Meta is seeking a Network Engineer to join the Foundation & Support team. You will plan, deploy, and operate enterprise network services across Meta's physical sites globally, focusing on reliability and lifecycle management.

You will lead incident response, drive change management, and collaborate with vendors and internal teams to improve network provisioning and performance using automation and AI tools.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of network engineering experience in enterprise environments.
• Experience leading incident response and troubleshooting of network outages.
• Experience with LAN/WAN/Wi‑Fi deployment at scale across multiple sites.
• Experience scripting for automation (Python, Ansible).

Responsibilities

• Plan and deploy enterprise network services across physical sites (LAN/WAN/wireless).
• Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and remediation efforts.
• Drive change management for network infrastructure updates.
• Collaborate with vendors and cross‑functional teams to resolve complex issues.
• Develop deployment runbooks and topology documentation.
• Leverage AIOps and automation for provisioning and anomaly detection.
• Analyze performance data and inform proactive reliability improvements.
• Advise partners on capacity planning and deployment sequencing.
• Track milestones and surface risks to leadership.
