Job summary

Meta seeks a Network Engineer to join the Foundation & Support team, focusing on deployment, operations, and lifecycle management of enterprise network services that underpin Meta's site infrastructure.

You will plan, deploy, and operationalize network systems across global physical sites, drive incident response and change management, and collaborate with vendors and internal teams while applying AI/automation to improve reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years in network engineering for enterprise networks.
• Experience leading incident response for network outages.
• Experience coordinating with vendors and cross-functional teams.
• 6+ years designing and operating LAN/WAN/wireless at scale.
• Experience with automation using Python or Ansible.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute end-to-end deployment of ENS across Meta's physical sites.
• Lead incident response for network outages and drive root cause analysis.
• Drive change management processes for network infrastructure updates.
• Collaborate with vendors, site operations, facilities, and infrastructure teams.
• Develop and maintain deployment runbooks, topology docs, and standards.
• Leverage AIOps and automation to accelerate provisioning and anomaly detection.
• Analyze network performance data and incident trends for improvements.
• Advise partners on capacity planning and deployment sequencing.
• Track deployment milestones and surface risks to leadership.
