Job summary

OneAZ Credit Union seeks a Network Engineer to design, implement, and optimize its enterprise network across corporate and retail locations in Phoenix, AZ. You will lead Cisco Firepower deployments, SSL/VPN, and cloud connectivity while aligning with financial regulations.

You will drive secure, scalable network solutions and mentor the team, with a focus on Zero Trust and automation using IaC principles.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology related field.
8-10 years enterprise networking experience.
5-8 years senior-level network engineering experience and administering Cisco Firepower environments.
Experience supporting multi-site enterprise organizations.
Preference for experience in financial institutions and regulated environments.

Responsibilities

Design and maintain enterprise network architecture for branches, data centers, and cloud environments.
Lead routing, switching, wireless, SD-WAN, VPN, and network segmentation initiatives.
Serve as SME for Cisco Firepower and FMC, IPS, and threat protection technologies.
Implement secure architectures aligned with Zero Trust and defense-in-depth principles.
Develop IaC and network automation using PowerShell, Python, REST APIs, and related tooling.
Provide mentoring and technical leadership; participate in after-hours on-call support.
