Job summary

TEKsystems seeks a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain a robust enterprise network. You will work with Cisco routing and switching, Palo Alto firewalls, and VPN technologies across data center and campus environments.

You will lead network modernization projects, develop standards, and create technical documentation while collaborating with security, systems, and application teams to ensure performance and security. This is an onsite role based in Tucson, AZ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT/engineering or related field.
• 5+ years designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise TCP/IP networks.
• Hands-on with Cisco routing & switching.
• Experience with Cisco ACI, MSO deployments, and Layer 2/3 design.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure (Cisco-based).
• Configure routing protocols: EIGRP, OSPF, BGP.
• Manage VLANs, VPNs, ACLs, wireless, and firewalls.
• Install and support network management and monitoring platforms.
• Develop documentation, standards, and procedures.
• Collaborate with security, systems, and applications teams.
