Job summary

Frontier Farm Credit is seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement, and support a scalable, secure, and highly available network across campus, data centers, cloud, and branch environments. You will collaborate with the Network Architect to translate architecture into detailed designs and production solutions.

The role requires strong enterprise networking fundamentals with experience across data center, cloud, security, and automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in MIS, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years' related experience or equivalent proficiency in a specialized network engineering field.
• CCNA and/or CCNP certification preferred.
• Experience with Cisco routing, switching, ACI/Nexus, ISE, and Cisco or Meraki wireless technologies.
• Experience with Palo Alto Networks and Fortinet firewalls, including Fortinet SD-WAN.
• Experience applying AI-assisted tools to network engineering, automation, or operational workflows.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, implement, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure across campus, branch, data center, cloud, wireless, WAN, and remote-access environments.
• Support advanced routing and switching, dynamic routing, data center networking, SD-WAN, wireless, cloud networking, high availability, resiliency, and disaster recovery.
• Develop and maintain automation and Infrastructure as Code for network provisioning, configuration, validation, testing, and lifecycle management.
• Lead complex network implementations and coordinate activities with Network Administrators, internal technology teams, vendors, and partners.
• Provide technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and mentorship to Network Administrators and other team members.
