Job summary

OneAZ Credit Union is seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement, secure, and optimize our enterprise network infrastructure across corporate and retail locations. You will lead Cisco Firepower deployments, cloud connectivity, and modern networking initiatives while aligning with regulatory standards.

The role requires 8–10 years of enterprise networking experience, strong security expertise, and a track record of modernization projects within large financial institutions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology related field required.
• 8-10 years enterprise networking experience required.
• 5-8 years senior-level network engineering experience administering Cisco Firepower required.
• Experience supporting multi-site enterprise organizations required.
• Experience in financial institutions or credit unions and assets >$1B preferred.
• Experience leading infrastructure modernization and network transformation projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain enterprise network architecture supporting branches, corporate locations, data centers, and cloud environments.
• Lead routing, switching, wireless, SD-WAN, VPN, and network segmentation efforts.
• Serve as primary engineer for Cisco Firepower, FMC, IPS, and advanced threat protection.
• Design secure architectures aligned with Zero Trust and defense-in-depth.
• Oversee network modernization, cloud networking, and infrastructure enhancements.
• Ensure highly available, resilient solutions for business continuity and DR objectives.
• Configure and support Azure networking, site-to-site VPNs, ExpressRoute, and hybrid cloud connectivity.
• Develop IaC and network automation using PowerShell, Python, REST APIs; automate provisioning and monitoring.
