Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to design, implement, and optimize our enterprise network and virtual infrastructure across domestic and international sites. You will ensure high availability, security, and performance of LAN/WAN/WLAN/SD-WAN/VPN, VMware, and Azure, while leading infrastructure initiatives.

You will guide Tier III support, collaborate with vendors, and participate in disaster recovery planning and after-hours on-call rotations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in information systems or computer science.
7+ years of progressive enterprise networking experience.
Professional certifications such as CCNP/CCIE/NSE/PCNSE/Security+ preferred.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, configure, and support enterprise LAN/WAN/WLAN, SD-WAN, VPN, and virtual networks.
Administer VMware ESXi/vCenter environments and virtual networking.
Manage Azure VNets, subnets, NSGs, connectivity, VMs, storage, and monitoring.
Maintain Cisco routers/switches/firewalls; upgrade IOS/firmware.
Implement firewall policies, segmentation, IPS/IDS, and secure remote access.
Monitor performance with enterprise tools and plan capacity.
Support HP storage integrated with VMware environments.
Perform data backups, disaster recovery planning, testing, and documentation.
Lead troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
Maintain network diagrams, standards, SOPs, and DR plans.
Provide Tier III support and mentor junior staff.
Coordinate with vendors for procurement and lifecycle management.
Participate in after-hours on-call rotation.
