Job summary

General Motors seeks a Senior Systems Integration Engineer to design and scale enterprise integrations and data pipelines. You will connect Google Workspace, SaaS platforms, and GM core systems through secure, reusable patterns, delivering production-ready pipelines aligned with enterprise standards.

You will partner with product, engineering, TPM, security, and business teams to enable reliable data flow, platform interoperability, and scalable integration solutions across GM.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in integration engineering, enterprise app integration, or software in complex environments.
• Hands-on with Google Cloud integration products (Apigee, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions).
• Experience mapping dependencies across SaaS, data layers, identity services, and business processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Deep knowledge integrating GCP with Workday/ServiceNow via REST/SOAP.

Responsibilities

• Define reusable GCP-native integration templates and accelerators.
• Align architectures with enterprise data standards and security policies.
• Secure workflows with Security, Privacy, ILM teams.
• Evaluate integration requests and select optimal path (SaaS, GCP-native, or custom).
• Design, build, and maintain APIs, webhooks, and middleware connecting GCP with internal systems.
• Define data mappings, transformation logic, error handling, and monitoring.
• Modernize legacy interfaces into scalable patterns across platforms.
• Build end-to-end data movement workflows across HR, IT, and enterprise ecosystems.
• Coordinate migration coexistence across Microsoft, GCP, and internal environments.
• Lead design reviews and provide architectural guidance.
